SALES ASSISTANT

PART TIME 

 

The Sales Assistant’s main focus is ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. They will maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards. They will assist in the sales process and follow daily operations in order to maintain a fully stocked store. They will possess a detailed knowledge of the clothing ranges we offer and will be expected to use this knowledge to develop customer engagement in the aim of growing sales. They will help implement and follow all the company’s policies and procedures to ensure targets can be achieved and driven beyond expectation.

Responsibilities and Duties

Working on the till/serving customers
Working on the changing rooms
Following stock prep procedures including steaming and tagging items Maintaining shop floor standards
Feeding back customer stock requests to the Management team
Being flexible to cover shifts and work extra hours as necessary
Greeting customers
Following loss prevention procedures
Ensuring that the store is clean, safe and presentable for customers

Skills

Organised with good time management
Excellent customer service skills
Being a team player and contributing positively to an energetic and ever-changing workplace Knowledge and interest in vintage clothing and current trends

MANCHESTER
ASSISTANT MANAGER
FULL TIME

 

The Assistant Manager’s main focus is supporting the Manager in determining the long term success of the store, and in the Manager’s absence assuming leadership of the store. They will contribute to the overall responsibility for the success of the store by carrying out daily operations, managing staff and increasing sales whilst minimising costs. They will help to oversee the operational and organisational standards of the store as well as implementing the marketing, merchandising and stock control procedures to ensure targets can be achieved and driven beyond expectation. The Assistant Manager will challenge, confer and communicate with the Manager in order to come to well-rounded and thought out joint decisions. They will have a thorough understanding of the store in order to problem solve and drive figures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist the Manager in recruiting and hiring staff that meet the brand’s expectations
  • Evaluate staff’s performance and feedback to the Manager
  • Coach and support other team members
  • Assign duties and delegate to the whole team in the Manager’s absence
  • Provide ongoing communications with the Manager on all aspects of the store’s operations
  • Track financial targets
  • Ensure that all polices and procedures are being followed throughout the store to the highest
  • possible standard
  • Ensure that the store is clean, safe and presentable for customers
  • Oversee product levels, stock rotation and maintain store inventory needs
  • Assist in the merchandising of the store (including window displays and mannequin styling)
  • Liaise with the Manager and in store rework team to ensure that rework production is completed
  • in the most sales focused manner
  • Interact with the public via social media and maintain the store’s online presence
  • Organise events and manage other marketing opportunities
  • Follow Health and Safety regulations
  • Ensure that all customer service initiatives are followed
  • Oversee daily operations as well as key holding and cash handling responsibilities
