We are Cow and this is what we've been playing at
As a Manchester based brand, collaborating with up and coming creatives is a must for us to stay fresh and feel out the talent that's rising in our hometown. This past week we have worked closely with the University of Salford photography course to inspire imagery from their students.
Pitching for flatlay images that represent the ethical nature of our brand, in particular the handmade clothing of our rework department, led to a burst of creativity from the course's class. Below are a few of our favourite pics which present the eCow message in a varied manner of methods.
Let us know your favs and we will be featuring the following photographers on our socials as the time goes on.

We're back back back again with a styling blog to show you our top tips on taking one of our garms - this time a Connie tie front top - and get more wear than ever from your vintage wardrobe. Instead of the fast fashion ethos to buy clothes to only wear them once, we want you to adore the vintage clothes you buy from us for life. It's all a part of our eCow promise - shop for life, not just for one look.
So stop and drop some coins on a versatile bit of vintage kit you can rock all year round in all sorts of ways. While Lizzie wears our camo Connie top, you can copy these styling tips for any tie front top.
AS IT IS
What can we say? It was made this way for a reason - rock your tie front top with your fav pair of vintage pants for a stylish, balanced look. You can buy the velvet flares Lizzie is wearing here (if you want to cop the whole outfit.)
Lizzie put her thing down, flipped it and reversed it with this styling choice. Rocking the tie front top backwards makes for a high neck t-shirt at the front and party in the back with a new tie back detail and exposed back.
DRESS IT UP
Who said a crop top has to be a casual look? By pairing our tie front with a dreamy animal print vintage skirt, Lizzie has turned a day outfit into a going out style that you can wear wherever requires a more chic look - without sacrificing your grunge principles.
Take your summer top into the colder months by pairing it with a turtleneck, mesh top or a layering tee. Unless, of course, you're brave enough to bare skin when it's under 15 degrees.4 WAYS TO STYLE A TIE FRONT TOP
